How we partnered with Libus in the evolution of their Smartmachine

Libus needed to take a leap. Their PPE vending machines ran on third-party technology that limited customization, made iteration harder, and couldn’t keep pace with business growth. With a growing fleet and clients with diverse needs, the goal was clear: build their own technology platform to gain autonomy, iterate faster, and prepare the system for a new phase.

We developed an interface module that mounts on Libus's existing dispensing machines, replacing the previous system with an entirely proprietary platform: industrial design, electronics, firmware, and management software—all custom-designed and manufactured.

The module integrates a large-format display, RFID reader, fingerprint scanner, facial recognition, and a rotary selector so the machine can be operated while wearing work gloves. Designed to fit existing machines and real plant conditions.

We lead the entire manufacturing process—from PCB design through integration and final assembly of each module. We coordinate every stage to ensure quality, traceability, and on-time delivery for every batch.

We design and manufacture custom electronics. We developed dedicated boards for motor control, sensors, and communications, delivering hardware tuned for industrial reliability and ready for future remote updates.

The module was designed to integrate into existing vending machines without changing their structure. Mount it, connect it, and the system is up and running—making field maintenance easier.

We developed a centralized management platform. The ecosystem is rounded out with software for real-time stock monitoring, configuring dispensing rules, and detailed consumption analytics by operation point.

The platform adapts to every device. All stock, movement, and alert data is available in real time, no matter which device you use.
